DIY for kids

Check out the kids’ project clinics at Home Depot and Lowe’s this fall. My 6-year-old daughter and I completed a sailboat at The Home Depot tent at a local festival, and she is eager to do more projects. She also received a cool work apron to keep and will get a pin each time she does a project at our local store. You can find more information about upcoming projects at the sites listed below or in your area stores.

The Home Depot Kids Workshops

Designed for kids 5-12, these free workshops teach do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while instilling a sense of accomplishment. Offered on the first Saturday of each month between 9 a.m. and noon at The Home Depot.

Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinics

Build on your kid’s talent with regularly scheduled clinics designed just for children. Build and Grow Clinics will teach your kids how to safely complete a variety of projects.

  1. You seem to find all the neat things to do in your area!!

I think you should compile a list. It would be great! My SIL lives in Loveland and i would love to show her how much there is to do in that tri-city area.

How is your new hs group going, the one you recently joined? I hope it’s going well and you know everyone! J/K ;)
