October snow

For the past 2 days, my girls (especially my older one) have been enjoying some outdoor recreation that is not usually associated with October. The younger one comes back inside frequently to warm up with hot chocolate and hot rice bags.
I think I need to remind her to pull her ski cap down over her ears, but she doesn’t seem to mind.
I wish we had real snow in October in Mississippi! Looks like so much fun!
Really? In October? Oi Vei, it’s gonna be a LOOOONG winter, huh? But boy, those pretty ladies sure look like they are having a blast!
Wow! You have a lot of snow already. Look at how red her cheeks are. Hot chocolate would need to be waiting for me!
Oooooh, my kids would love that! We live where it doesn’t snow, so we have to go find it during the winter time. We just had some 60 degree days and my kids are ready to don their parkas. What can I say? We’re AZ people.
Looks like she’s having tons of fun. There’s something magical about snow, isn’t there?
