WFMW: learning to music

As I was doing my Bible study and humming the song I learned as a child to remember the books of the New Testament to myself recently, I started thinking about all the other things that I committed to memory over the years and how much easier it was to memorize things that were set to music. My niece’s kindergarten teacher helps them remember the months of the year and the name of the continents using songs.

Here are a few that you might find helpful when teaching your kids. Let me know in the comments any others that you sing with your family—or that you remember from when you were a kid! I can still remember the song my 8th grade English teacher taught us so we would remember all the prepositions.
